The Ignite Ministry
WHO?
We have an active, vibrant teen ministry at Immanuel for 6th-12th grade students who meet every Friday 6:30-8:30pm.
WHAT?
We offer two different settings to grow in;
IGNITE focuses on fellowship, dynamic group games, and small group discussions.
CONNECT meets on the alternate Fridays and focuses on small group fellowship to dig deeper in our teen Bible study. (of course, there are also group games!)

WHY?
We believe the Gospel is the only source of truth that empowers our youth, giving them confidence and hope for the future. We want them to take hold of their own faith and learn how to live that faith out in their homes, schools, and communities.
Our goal is to challenge our teens to connect Bible knowledge and principles to their lives and struggles, and ultimately become leaders through biblical discipleship.

Trust & Security
Our team of trained leaders undergo background checks and are screened and trained before they are approved to serve.
Opportunities to Make a Difference
- Each month on the 3rd Saturday we team up with Street Soldiers in serving the Rensselaer area providing food items, basic staples, and clothing to our less fortunate friends and neighbors.
- 2024 Youth Mission Trip! Our youth mission trips are designed to change lives, and deepen the faith of every student involved.
- We are joining World Changers serving in the Chattanoga Tennessee area. Our 2024 mission dates are 7/13–7/21.
- We believe it is important for our students to engage in serving the local church so they grow in their faith and take responsibility in their faith family.
